Swab Boxes
There are three different 20 pt thick chipboard swab boxes offered which are primarily used for the collection of DNA Evidence such as blood and other body fluids. All three of these swab boxes come with ¼” breathing holes which allow the swabs to continue air drying even after packaging.
The 6” long Suspended Swab swab box is designed to hold cotton swab bulbs away from the swab box and prevent liquids from being absorbed into the chipboard box if the swabs are still damp or wet when packaged.

Swab Protectors
The swab protectors allow you to package and protect swabs from cross-contamination even if time does not permit air drying the swab at the time of collection. Simply slide the protector up the swab shaft until the swab bulb is covered and protected. Protectors can be used with both 6” and 3” swabs.

The standard swab box, which is used in the Sexual Assault Evidence Collection Kit will hold up to two 6” long swabs.
The small swab boxes are designed to hold up to two 3” long swabs. The advantage of a 3” swab is less flexibility of the swab shaft when collecting DNA samples.
