Trace Metal Detection Kit
When an individual handles metal objects or weapons, trace amounts of the metal are deposited on his or her hands. Our Trace Metal Detection Kit is designed to detect those metal traces. Simply spray the trace metal detection solution on the suspect’s hands, then illuminate the area with the short wave UV lamp to make the trace metal visible. In most cases, the actual shape of the metal object can be determined on the suspect’s hands, as shown in the photograph.

Trace Metal Detection Spray
The same chemical reagent supplied in our Trace Metal Detection Kit. This reagent is sprayed on the suspect’s hands and then examined under short wave ultraviolet light for telltale traces of a metal tool or weapon.
